Generally, this is a tier 3 (high risk) and tier 2 (moderate risk) search of the sex offender registries nationally as well as specified State(s). High risk convicted offenders have been assessed as posing a substantial risk of repeating the crime and poses a threat to public safety. Moderate risk convicted offenders have been assessed to pose a probable risk of repeating and being a threat to public safety.
